Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The article "Separable Reversible Data Hiding in Encryption Image with 2 Two-tuple Coding"

It is a relevant topic of interest to the community, however, several points are not clear and need to be better detailed.

Put Keywords in alphabetical order, I suggest 5 words.

In the introduction, describe better which research problems were found and which ones will be dealt with in the work. Reduce the size of figures.

Organize text so that there is a brief discussion of the panorama, after problems encountered and possible solution to be developed.

The text needs to be improved in several aspects, such as the organization of ideas and concepts and scientific contribution;

It is imperative that a state of the art section be included, I suggest researching and comparing articles that may contribute to related studies, I suggest this related work recently published:

https://0-doi-org.brum.beds.ac.uk/10.3390/s19194312

Table 5 include as an appendix, evaluate other figures also be included as an appendix

Include a discussion section or better discuss the technical definition and evidence of the contribution of the work developed.

Conclusions are the poorest part of the work, highlighting the problems found and solved, what the contributions to the readers are, what the results obtained, and what the work can be useful for. Describe what the possible future works are;

Insert list of mathematical symbols
Insert list of abbreviations.

Reviewer 2 Report

The paper proposes a two-tuples coding method and construct RDH-EI scheme by employing high order bits compression, low order bits, data embedding and pixel confusion.

The paper can be improved by adding a table of acronyms.

Reviewer 3 Report

In this paper, a novel RDH-EI methodology is proposed.
The introduced methodology is based on a two-tuple image coding scheme.
The technical presentation is satisfactory and adequate.
The proposed methodology shows an improved embedding rate and security level.

After studying the manuscript and the related references the following comments are stated:

1) In line 294, please the authors check the result of the subtraction 31-21=1.
2) The authors should provide a complexity analysis of the proposed methodology and compare it with that of the methods presented in Table 7.
3) It is not clear from the text the type of the embedded data. Is it a random bit string or some specific information? How the form of the
embedded data affects the performance of the data e.g. imperceptibility property?

Round 2

Reviewer 1 Report

Changes have been made, for the final version to include the References section, the references are in but the section title is not.
Organize and format the text, tables and figures that are misaligned, finally, review the format and template for the final version to be published.

Reviewer 3 Report

The authors have addressed all reviewer's comments.
The revised manuscript has been improved and can be published in its current form.
