Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The authors present their work on aromatization catalysts comparing Pt-carbon gel catalysts and oxy/carbide catalysts. The presentation of the results is adequate and the discussion is complete. I suggest the paper can be accepted in its present form.

Author Response

Answer: We acknowledge the reviewer for the positive comments about our work.

Reviewer 2 Report

The article shows the catalytic activity of different catalysts based on metal or metal oxide on carbon-based support.

The work needs some modifications and improvements within the presentation before being publishable.

In abstract, l.9-11 are not necessary (It should be a part of the introduction)

l.24-29 : Add references. The topic is of high industrial relevance. There are certainly reviews.

l.31-32 : How is chlorine added ? Not clear.

l. 49-50, 68-69, 78 : Add references

l. 64 : transferences ? Transfers, maybe ?

l.131-132 : Where are the data ? Any fig ?

According to all the obtained data within cracking and aromatization, there should be more explanations. What are exactly the detected compounds ? How were the values calculated ?
