Publisher’s Note: Resumed Publication of Neuroglia by MDPI

MDPI Editorial Office, Avenida Madrid, 95, 08028 Barcelona, Spain
Submission received: 25 April 2021 / Accepted: 25 April 2021 / Published: 27 April 2021
Since the launch of the first journal Molecules [1], MDPI’s team has focused on serving the academic communities’ ever-growing needs to publish the results of their research, quickly and openly.
MDPI’s portfolio has greatly expanded in the last few years and today sums up to more than 250 journals in all fields and disciplines [2], including more than 120 in the biology and life sciences area.
Neuroglia was officially launched in June 2017 and released the first Issue in September 2018 under the guidance of Prof. Alexej Verkhratsky and Prof. Arthur Butt as founding Editors-in-Chief. After more than a year and 26 published articles, in January 2019 Neuroglia was, unfortunately, discontinued [3].
After recent events and to ensure that we serve all academic communities well, we hereby announce that MDPI is resuming the publication of Neuroglia. We hope that you will join us as authors, reviewers, and editors to fulfill this important mission.
