Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Well written paper on a rare disease. The  detailed presentation of this disorder will definitely improve the awareness and management of this disorder and the paper is a must for those interested in the management of these patients. The reference list should be corrected.

Author Response

I have corrected the referrence list, especially the punctuation errrors.

The revisions are highlighted in red color. (Lines 109-118, 215-216, 243-310)

Reviewer 2 Report

Dear authors,

very nicely written article. What is missing in my point of view, is the result of the treatment (surgical or non-surgical). Do you have some information about the actual health status of these patients? As a reader, I would be very pleased with the photos of patients after individual procedures - treatment. How are they?

Then, was the genetical analysis of CYLD gene performed? It would be very interesting to know where the mutation is.

Author Response

Thank you very much for your report review and for your appreciation.

I have added  2 photos of the last patient presented where we can see the difference between a treated vs an untreated area of the face with CO2 laser. Indeed, the lesions periodically recur in this last case and we constanly treat them with CO2 laser.

The revisions are highlighted in red color (lines 109-118, 215-216, 243-310). I have also corrected the refference list, especially some punctuation mistakes.

Regarding the genetical analysis, unfortunately we didn't have the possibility to perform it. We established the diagnosis based on the clinical aspect and on the histopathological exam in all the 4 patients.

Sincerely,

Dr Casandra Coltoiu
