The 17th International Symposium on Magnetic Bearings (ISMB17)

The International Symposium on Magnetic Bearings (ISMB) is a biennial event that brings together the Academic Scientific Community, Research Institutes and Laboratories, as well as professionals, companies and governmental organizations linked to various sectors such as electric, petroleum and bio-engineering, in order to introduce and debate new approaches, methods and applications of the so-called magnetic bearings and also of equipment whose operation principle involves the control of magnetic forces.

Historically, the ISMB has been occurring every two years since 1988. Due to COVID19, the 17th ISMB had to be postponed from 2020 to 2021 and will be held as a virtual conference.

The plenary sessions and technical sessions will take place in the period from August 18th to 21st, 2021. Six plenary sessions by renowned speakers are scheduled for 50 minutes each. A total of 100 papers of several national and international authors will be presented. A technical exposition will enrich the event.

We look forward to welcoming you at this exciting virtual meeting:
