Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

This Special Issue is dedicated to novel perspectives on improving crop tolerance to abiotic stressors. Constant climatic changes and strong dependence of crop yield on environmental conditions are widely known and understood issues. Despite intense research in this area, however, we remain unable to take full advantage of the yield potential in unfavorable environmental conditions. This demonstrates how much there is to be done, and how important such studies are for contemporary and future agriculture.

Studies conducted in this field differ not only in the plant material and investigated stresses but also in research methods. We believe that diversity and the wide range of topics make such papers both interesting and inspiring for the scientific community. Therefore, in this Special Issue, we wish to review the latest updates on improving crop resistance to abiotic stress using the advanced methods of genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics.

Authors are invited to submit original research papers, communications, and reviews exploring different aspects of this topic.

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Agronomy is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
