Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Alzheimer’s disease is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by a progressive deterioration of memory and cognitive functions, often associated with neuropsychiatric symptoms (depression; psychosis), that further compromise patients' behavior. There are many genetic factors that affect this disease. Even though we believe we know enough about the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease, there is no effective drug treatment to treat degenerative diseases and improve dementia symptoms.

For our Special Issue in the journal Applied Sciences, titled “Genetics of Psychosis in Alzheimer’s Disease,” we would like to invite all investigators who are interested in this topic to contribute, and especially we encourage multi-disciplinary collaboration that share more ideas about the future development of its pathology, diagnosis, and treatment. Any original research article or review is welcome.
