Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

In recent years we have been facing a major global challenge to achieve equality between men and women in all fields of research, but this challenge is even greater in the areas of engineering, and more specifically in the field of research into new construction materials. This special volume dedicated to "Women in building materials" is a great opportunity to highlight and make visible the work done by women scientists from all over the world who focus their research on construction materials. To celebrate the achievements of women in materials research, this Special Issue of Applied Sciences will feature a collection of articles by women researchers who are already established in senior positions, are in the process of establishing their own research groups, or are still in academic training. Contributions to this issue can be submitted as original research articles or reviews, and can cover any topic in the field of building materials.

We look forward to receiving your contributions.
