On behalf of the Editorial Board of Bioengineering, the many reviewers, contributing authors, and support staff, I am pleased to announce that the 2020 Bioengineering Travel Award is given to Mr. Punn Augsornworawat, a doctoral student in the laboratory of Prof. Jeffrey R. Millman at Washington University in St. Louis, MI, USA.
Mr. Augsornworawat will present his paper entitled “Single-Cell Transcriptome Profiling Reveals β Cell Maturation in Stem-Cell-Derived Islets after Transplantation” at the 2020 Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) Annual Meeting (https://www.bmes.org/annualmeeting) in San Diego, California, USA.
