Diseases Added to the Emerging Sources Citation Index in Web of Science
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to inform you that the journal Diseases (ISSN 2079-9721; CODEN: DISECP) has been accepted for inclusion in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI; Web of Science). We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, and editors that have been involved in the journal over the years, and whose contribution has enabled this achievement.
Diseases (ISSN 2079-9721), an international, peer-reviewed open access journal which focuses on human diseases and conditions, is published quarterly online by MDPI. Diseases is aimed at a wide audience of medical researchers and healthcare professionals.
Diseases has been publishing the latest and outstanding research on diseases and conditions for more than eight years. It has been indexed by PubMed, PMC and Chemical Abstracts. Currently, it is included in the Web of Science Core Collection ESCI. The median article processing time (from submission to publication) is 35.5 days. Papers are normally published online within 1.6 days after acceptance.
