Dear Colleagues,
The Guest Editor is inviting submissions to a Special Issue of Energies on the subject of “Recent Advances in Control and Analysis of Power Systems”. Power systems are constantly increasing in complexity. In such a complex scenario, new solutions and research are required to enhance the reliability, continuous operation, and flexibility of the whole energy system. The main topic for this Special Issue is the recent advances that contribute to the research in power systems. In particular, the control of power converters or any other power device that interacts with the power system, and the analysis of existing and new proposals for improving the operation of power systems are of interest.
The topics of interest for publication include, but are not limited to:
- Power system control;
- Power system analysis;
- Power flow in complex power systems;
- Distributed energy systems;
- Energy storage systems;
- Vehicle-to-grid/grid-to-vehicle operation;
- The analysis of fully renewable power systems;
- Primary/secondary/tertiary control layers of power systems;
- The reliability of networked power systems;
- Disturbances in power systems;
- Power quality improvement.

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Energies is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
