Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) has become a common disease because the number of patients with diabetic kidney disease or hypertension is increasing. An increasing number of patients with CKD receive doctor visits at regular intervals. However, new therapies or treatments have not been discovered for CKD. Novel drugs which target epigenetic mechanisms have not been developed in renal fields. We would like to review the epigenetic roles and new treatments that target epigenetic regulations in renal failure. We also seek to discuss epigenetic roles in the kidney in this section.
