Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Tobacco is the leading preventable cause of disability and death. With more than 60 different carcinogens being generated by tobacco smoking, it is associated with numerous cancers and other severe health conditions including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and cardiovascular diseases such as myocardial infarction and stroke.
With more than 500 different articles published so far, tobacco-related health issues are the focus of the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health.
This Special Issue is open to any studies related to the analysis of tobacco-related diseases and their effects on individual and public health issues, ranging from experimental studies, to epidemiologic studies, to public health and health policy issues. The listed keywords suggest a few of the many possibilities.
