Dear Colleagues,
By the year 2025, people aged more than 65 ore likely to exceed 20% in a lot of countries, and respiratory infection will be one of the most important diseases for elderly persons. Recently, the COVID-19 pandemic had a global impact, and we should focus on the management of these respiratory infectious diseases, including viral, bacterial, fungal, and mycobacterium infections. In this special issue, the experts in this field will be given the outlines of these mechanisms of severity and updated information.

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
