Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

In the dentistry field, new technologies have emerged in order to change and improve the existing workflows for clinical practice. These new technologies, such as the CAD/CAM technique, intraoral scanner, CBCT, and 3D printing should be considered as custom made medicine with lot of beneficial effects in oral and system health. In particular, the accuracy of the obtained results may have a fundamental role in clinical practice. In this era, the rapid development in innovative dental materials and technology for oral treatment makes it increasingly important to study the effects on oral and general health in both the short and long term.

It is a pleasure to invite colleagues to submit original research articles, review papers, or short communications as well as in vitro studies, clinical trials, and case reports on recent advancements in the technological field applied to oral health and the related clinical practice.

Possible research topics for this Special Issue include but are not limited to:

  • 3D printing applications
  • CAD/CAM technology applications
  • intraoral scanner applications
  • CBCT applications
