Mineral Processing and Extractive Metallurgy

A section of Minerals (ISSN 2075-163X).

Section Information

The section aims at publishing high quality original research papers and critical reviews featuring the fundamental aspects and industrial applications in the field of processing and extractive metallurgy of primary and secondary resources. This includes, but is not limited to, physical (i.e. comminution; classification; sorting; gravity, magnetic and electric concentration; froth flotation, coagulation, flocculation, oil agglomeration) and chemical (i.e. hydro-, pyro-, bio-metallurgy; solvent extraction; electro-winning) separation methods as well as advanced analytical techniques, applied mineralogy, process design, modelling and sensors/instrumentation. Environmental aspects of mineral processing are also covered.
