Nanoelectronics, Nanosensors and Devices

A section of Nanomaterials (ISSN 2079-4991).

Section Information

Nanomaterials are playing a critical role in the development of novel devices. Nanomaterials have unique characteristics which differ greatly from those of their bulk counterparts. These unique characteristics provide the basis for novel nanoelectronics, nanosensors and nanodevices which are able to overcome the limitations of current devices.

The “Nanoelectronics, Nanosensors and Devices” section provides a forum for rapid publication of the accounts of works pertaining to the preparation, characterization, and application of nanomaterials in various nanoelectronics and nanodevices. The scope of Nanoelectronics, Nanosensors and Devices comprises, without being limited to, various applications in electronics, sensors and other devices, including actuator, soft robotics, wearable electronics, flexible/stretchable electronics, energy generation and storage devices, displays, and shape memory polymers by utilizing the concept of nanoelectronics and nanodevices. Both experimental and theoretical studies along with novel characterization methods will be covered. All manuscripts to be considered for publication in this section will undergo a rigorous peer-review process, and decisions are based on the recommendations of independent reviewers.
