ncRNA 2019 Travel Award
Dear Colleagues,
As Editor-in-Chief of Non-Coding RNA (ncRNA), it is my great pleasure to announce that the winner of the 2019 ncRNA Travel Award is Mr. Baptiste Bogard, MS. He is a second-year PhD student in Dr. Florent Hubé’s laboratory in the Epigénétique et Destin Cellulaire, CNRS UMR7216, Université Paris Diderot, Paris, France. ncRNA will support Mr. Baptiste with 800 Swiss Francs for travel expenses.

ncRNA 2018 Best Poster Award at FASEB SRC
Dear Colleagues,
The journal Non-Coding RNA (ISSN 2311-553X) offered a Best Poster Award at the FASEB SRC meeting “Posttranscriptional Control of Gene Expression: Mechanisms of RNA Decay”, which was held 24–29 June 2018 in Scottsdale, AZ, USA. All attendees with a poster presentation on non-coding RNAs were eligible.
Dr. Anthony Mustoe from the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill, NC, USA) is the winner of this award and received a prize of 200 Swiss Francs. Dr. Mustoe showed his findings in a poster presentation entitled “Pervasive Regulatory Functions of Bacterial mRNA Structure Revealed by High-Resolution SHAPE Probing”.

ncRNA 2018 Travel Award
Dear Colleagues,
As Editor-in-Chief of the Non-coding RNA Journal (ncRNA), on behalf of the Travel Award 2018 Committee, it is my pleasure to announce that the winner of the 2018 ncRNA Travel Award is Dr. Cristian Rodriguez-Aguayo. Dr. Cristian Rodriguez-Aguayo an Instructor at the Department of Experimental Therapeutics, Division of Cancer Medicine, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX. His current research focuses on the understanding of the functional basis and biological mechanism by RBPs and non-coding RNAs promote cancer growth and tumor progression. He has co-authored more than 70 papers published in international peer-reviewed journals, he also has patents and book chapters.
On behalf of ncRNA, Dr. Rodriguez-Aguayo will be awarded 800 Swiss Francs to attend the TAT 2018 – Targeted Anticancer Therapies meeting that will be held 5– 7 March, 2018 in Paris, France. There, he will present his work on “Regulation of hnRNPA1 by microRNAs controls the miR-18a–KRAS axis in chemotherapy-resistant ovarian cancer”
