Pathogens 2021 Young Investigator Awards
We are pleased to announce that Pathogens is now inviting nominations for the 2021 Young Investigator Awards. This prize will be given to two young investigators in recognition of their excellence in the field of research covering all aspects of pathogens and pathogen–host interactions. All nominations will be assessed by an Evaluation Committee led by the Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Dr. Lawrence S. Young.
−1000 CHF (Swiss Francs);
− Option to publish one paper free of charge in Pathogens after peer review before 1st April 2022;
− An engraved plaque.
Eligibility and Requirements:
− Must have received their PhD and be below 40 years of age (as of 31 December 2020)
− Must have conducted groundbreaking research with a significant contribution to the advancement of some aspects of pathogens or pathogen–host interactions;
− Candidates must be nominated by senior scientists.
List of Documents for Nomination
–Detailed CV including an updated publication list and a list of the researcher’s own research grants;
− Birth certificate or other proof of age;
− Scanned copy of doctorate certificate;
− Signed nomination letters from two established senior scientists.
