Young Investigator Award

Dear Colleagues, 

We are pleased to announce that the winner of the Pharmaceutics 2021 Young Investigator Award is Dr. Qi (Tony) Zhou.

Dr. Qi (Tony) Zhou is an University Faculty Scholar Associate Professor of the Department of Industrial and Physical Pharmacy at Purdue University, West Lafayette, USA. Dr. Zhou’s research interests are in particle engineering for innovative manufacturing of solids, the advanced characterization of pharmaceutical solid sosage forms, and the novel formulation design for pulmonary drug delivery systems. Dr. Zhou received his PhD in 2012 from Monash University of Australia and has an outstanding publication record, comprising >100 publications in peer-reviewed international journals and 9 international patents/patent applications. He is clearly a rising star in the field of phamceutics with numerous international awards. Dr Zhou is an Editor of AAPS PharmSciTech and Editorial Board Memember of many pharmaceutical journals. He has secured funding of more than USD 8 million since 2013, which is an outstanding achievement in today’s competitive environment. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Qi (Tony) Zhou for his outstanding achievements.

As the awardee, Dr. Qi (Tony) Zhou will receive an honorarium of CHF 2000, an offer to publish a paper free of charge before before the end of 2022 in Pharmaceutics after peer review, and an engraved plaque.
