20–23 June 2022, Bologna, Italy
The Fifth Annual Conference of the European Academy of Religion

The European Academy of Religion (EuARe) is a research initiative launched in 2016 under the high patronage of the European Parliament which aims to create an inclusive network, to act as an open platform, and to provide a framework to foster research, communication, exchange, and cooperation concerning critical religious issues for the academic world and society at large.

Each year, the EuARe convenes an annual conference that combines working sessions (panels, discussions, roundtables, and book presentations) with four keynote lectures offered by internationally renowned scholars and has now reached its fifth edition. While the subjects of the working sessions reflect the variety of disciplines embraced by the EuARe, keynote lectures focus on a specific topic, which is different every year. The overarching topic of the 2022 Conference (Bologna, 20–23 June 2022) will be Religion and Diversity.
