Dear Colleagues,

The editorial team would like to congratulate the winners of the “Safety 2019 Best Paper Awards”, who were chosen by a Selection Committee chaired by the Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Dr. Raphael Grzebieta. All papers published from 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2019 in Safety were considered for the award. Following a review process by the Evaluation Committee, three winners were selected. The recipients of the “Safety 2019 Best Paper Awards” are as follows:
