Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The linear economy paradigm has played a critical role in the modern world focused mainly on the lines supply chain approach (extraction-production-consumption- final disposal).[1]
Circular Economy represents today a new economic paradigm based on the environment and on the recovery of material [2].
As is widely known, sustainability is an important factor in competition, increasing the added value of a company in terms of image and credibility [3].
Life Cycle Thinking is considered crucial for Sustainability assessment and includes three kinds of sustainability variables (environmental, social and economic dimensions).
The main goal of this special issue is to define the current state of the art of Circular economy paradigm and life cycle thinking application on this pattern and to evidence the link between circular economy and life cycle approach.
This Special Issue will include selected papers including original and innovative aspects in order to contribute to the scientific literature on presenting original and innovative contributions presenting.
Papers selected for this Special Issue will be subject to a rigorous peer-review process with the aim of rapid and wide dissemination of research results, developments, and applications.
