Dear Colleagues,

Horsehair worms (Nematomorpha) are a fascinating group of parasitic worms. The number of described species, currently about 360, is constantly growing. Their life cycle, which includes host manipulation to drive terrestrial insects into water, attracts much interest, but has not been sufficiently investigated. Nematomorphs are still heavily understudied, although excellent papers have been published in the past years. Their life cycle is still incompletely known, ecological studies are few, and the mechanism by which they influence their hosts, driving them to water, is still unknown. Meanwhile, molecular data are starting to open new roads in their taxonomy for the understanding of morphological differences. This Special Issue welcomes research manuscripts on all aspects of Nematomorpha: their systematics, morphology, ecology, and others.
