Dear Colleagues,
Vaccine-preventable diseases (VPD) occur endemic and epidemic and continue to impact the workforce's economy and health. Also, outbreaks often occur in specific work settings, such as hospitals, transport, construction sites, offices.
One of a major aim of occupational medicine is to prevent VPD among workers to protect collective health. In conjunction with health protection, there is social and economic protection. The loss of days of work can damage the financial and social impact through apposite indicators to applicate in database to build up a risk management model and a decision support system for identifying, evaluating and mitigating the occupational risk in order to promote safety, well-being and quality of life of workers in pandemic and post-pandemic times.
Reducing the risk from the VPD by workers due to stress and burnout, is crucial for healthcare organizations because they should provide a healthcare service.
In conclusion, the objective of this Special Issue is disseminate original research, reviews and note on vaccine assessment and management for workers in order to evaluate present management and indicate the future solutions and predictor indicators.
