Zinad and Al-Amiery and coworkers presented in this manuscript the imidazole molecule, namely, 1-Methyl-2-(2'-chloro-2,4'-bipyridine-4-yl)imidazole. A search using SciFinder confirmed that it is an unknown compound. The compound was prepared by a simple Suzuki coupling reaction. The characterization was adequately executed. Only minor format problem was detected. For example, in scheme 1, there is a mistake in the use of bracket for the boronic acid. Overall, we recommend the publication of this manuscript.

Both, the synthesis and analysis of the described compound does not raise any objections.

My only objection is the name of the title compound. In the article published this month, by the same authors (Molbank 2018, 2018 (4), M1030), the same compound is called 2'-chloro-4-(1-methyl-1H-imidazol-2-yl)-2,4'-bipyridine. In my opinion, this name is more correct.

There are also a few editing errors:

There is no opening bracket in the name of boronic acid (Scheme 1).

Unnecessary space in the name 2-chloro-4-(1-methyl-1H-imidazol-2-yl)pyridine (Line no. 41).

Unnecessary space in the word "high-performance" (Line no. 49 and 56).
