The authors report their work on synthesis, X-ray analysis, spectroscopic properties of 3-[4-(2-phenylethyl)piperazin-1-yl]-7H-benzo[de]anthracen-7-one.
Many 3-substituted 7H-benzo[de]anthracen-7-one derivatives were prepared, and their spectroscopic properties were published by your group. The authors should cite the following papers: J. Phys. Chem. A 2003, 107, 9740; Z. Naturforsch. 2001, 56a, 291; Anal. Chim. Acta 1984, 160, 301; Indian J. Chem. 1971, 9, 1405. Since this manuscript is a short note, it is not necessary to explain the detailed comparison with the previous reports. What is difference between a purpose and results of this study and those of these studies? Comments should be made on the difference in the range of fluorescence color change depending on the polarity of the solvent between 2 and the compounds in the previous report. The paper provides interesting data but it still needs a considerable revision to be acceptable for Molbank.

Thanks to your suggestion, we supplemented the spectroscopic part of the article with a comparison with literature data for similar compounds (Lines 107-120, 128-129), including the mentioned articles in the list of references (Lines 244-250).
