Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The paper is scientifically sound and very interesting. Methodology is given in detail. The data are suitably interpreted. I would suggest to the authors, lines 199-205, 258-265, 315-318 to be removed from the Results section and to incorporate them into Introduction section

Author Response

Reviewer 2 Report

In this study the toxicity of aerosolized HABs on in vivo model was done. Based on the findings, the authors demonstrated the health risk of exposure to aerosolized HAB. Overall, this is an interesting and scientifically sound work. The manuscript is well written and the scientific content appears to be solid. It might have a good impact in the field. In general, the manuscript looks laconic and is suitable for publication in Toxins journal

Author Response

We would like to thank the enthusiastic support from the reviewer. We have made changes suggested by Reviewer 1 and formatting changes per journal requirements.
