The paper 'The impact of business continuity on Supply Chain Practices and Resilience due to COVID-19' is interesting and useful for a deeper understanding of the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in relation to the impact on business continuity due to shutdowns, travel restrictions and social displacement measures. Specifically, the authors sought to assess the implications of business continuity on companies' decisions to adopt supply chain practices, focusing on omnichannel strategies, supply chain coordination and new technologies (artificial intelligence systems, big data, machine learning and mobile applications).

The authors conducted a stochastic approach based on Bayesian networks using a sample of 525 (or 119? - Is this a typo related to another work?) and states that the results reveal that companies facing disruptions, on the one hand, in a single performance area can apply specific strategies to maintain resilience, on the other hand, multiple areas of underperformance require a diversified approach.

In my humble opinion, the paper is quite well written and quite easy to read. I appreciate the subject matter and find it interesting and rather original. However, I believe that a more thorough description of the sample and a definition of the study area are due. These shortcomings are very important limitations that reduce the quality of the work. Therefore, I believe that the paper can be published in the journal Logistics, after a small revision.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The authors present very interesting research regarding the - The impact of Business continuity on Supply Chain Practices and Resilience due to COVID-19. The manuscript is well structured and the scope is aligned with the journal’s scope. Nevertheless some improvements should me made:

The referencing style  across the whole document must be adapted according to the journal standards.

Table 4 must be updated. The configuration is not optimal.

In figure 3 is missing the legend. The reader must be able to understand what dashed lines mean and what non-dashed lines mean.

Figure 4 required some type of legend to understand what the thickness of the links represent. A link class thickness would be helpful. Also explain why in this figure the links are non-direction or bi-directional.

The conclusion chapter must be reworked. There is missing the academic implication of the study, the managerial implications of the study, and the further recommendations on this study. These should be separated in sub-chapters to clearly define the different implications of the study.

Once the authors clearly mention in the introduction the 3 research questions, it would be helpful to a potential reader to see them answered in a very clear and direct way by means of a table, where for each RQ a conclusion could be given. If the authors opt to use a table, then the academic and managerial implications should also be provided for each RQ.

A very positive point is that the references are >85 % not older than 5 years!

The Disclaimer/Publisher’s Note: must be repositioned I the document. Usually it does not appear after the references.

Only after these major changes in the architecture of the paper, is than possible to proceed with the detailed analysis of the content and the respective importance of the paper to the scientific community.

Thank you
