This is a comprehensive study, presenting a simulation/comparison on nonparametric methods for the derivation of limits of agreement. The authors have done a thorough work and the article would be a useful addition to the existing literature. I only have minor comments:

  • Simulation results can also be presented as boxplots for better visual assessment of the different approaches.
  • Word "Kernel" found starting with caps in a few instances, please replace with "kernel" if not in the beginning of a sentence.
  • Figure 1 obviously produced using Stata. Please refer to software used throughout (or even reproduce with R in order to solely present R results).
  • Authors refer to "moderate" sample sizes but the simulation goes up to n=250 (although results up to n=150 are shown). Personally, would consider "moderate" up to n=80. Adding a sentence to describe sample size description considerations would suffice though.
