  1. The authors should provide the purity percentage of the chemical used
  2. The scale bars of SEM images should be same and clearer.
  3. TEM image should be provided.
  4. The authors should accommodate following research articles in the proper places.

this is a very significant study rich with results; i have only few comments to the authors.

is it possible to study TEM of TiO2 nanocrystals.

some parts are not explained well; especially the discussion part which is very concise.

more citation required for the introduction section as you discussed some pros and cons without enough citation.

The photochromic behavior of WO3-x /TiO2 NCs on textiles was evaluated. overall, it an interesting study However, there were some recommendation before publication.

1- please highlight the novelty to be more clearer.

2- please undergo contact angles to measure surface properties.

3- How about durability test and its effect on photochromic behavior.

4- XRD is needed.
