Clean Technologies Recruiting Topic Board Members


Clean Technologies (https://0-www-mdpi-com.brum.beds.ac.uk/journal/cleantechnol) is looking to expand the Topic Board (https://0-www-mdpi-com.brum.beds.ac.uk/journal/cleantechnol/topic_editors) in order to cover areas in need of additional expertise. If you are interested in serving as an Academic Editor on the Topic Board or would like to recommend potential candidates, please reach out to us. 

Clean Technologies (ISSN 2571-8797) is an open access journal published quarterly online by the leading open access publisher MDPI. Prof. Dr. Patricia Luis is serving as the Editor-in-Chief. This journal is dedicated to the publication and worldwide dissemination of peer-reviewed research articles, communications, and review papers in all areas of clean technologies. The journal is presently covered by the following indexes: Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), etc. 

The main responsibilities and benefits of Topic Board Members are as follows: 

  1. Promoting the journal at conferences (adding 1–2 slides to your presentation, distributing flyers, recommending the journal to your colleagues, etc.);
  2. Suggesting some of the latest and most interesting topics for the journal;
  3. Leading at least one Special Issue in your particular field of expertise every two years or inviting at least three authors to contribute to the journal with discounts, per year;
  4. Travel grants per year if you lead a successful Special Issue and would like to promote it at conferences that you attend or organize;
  5. Providing support for the Special Issues on topics related to your expertise or when the Guest Editor(s) is/are not available, including Special Issue promotion via social media, pre-checking new submissions, making decisions, and providing advice on scientific cases;
  6. Recommending conferences, including physical and virtual, for us to cooperate in if you have conference plans. All Topic Board Members have the chance to obtain sponsorship for the conferences that they organize or attend;
  7. Promoting Clean Technologies and published papers among your peers via social media or other venues periodically;
  8. Certain discounts for the papers you publish;
  9. A recognition certificate as a Topic Editor of Clean Technologies
