This Special Issue entitled “Liquid Crystals from Cellulosic Materials and Their Applications” delves into the interdisciplinary realm of liquid crystals derived from cellulosic materials, exploring their unique properties and diverse applications. This issue will explore the synthesis and characterization of liquid crystals that originate from cellulose, highlighting the sustainable and renewable nature of these materials.
Insights into the molecular structure and behaviour of cellulose-derived liquid crystals as well as their potential in various applications are expected.
This Special Issue will also highlight the applications of these liquid crystals across different fields, namely in responsive materials, smart devices, and added functional materials.
This Special Issue aims to contribute significantly to enrich collective knowledge in the liquid crystal field, with a commitment to sustainability.
We would be delighted to feature your work and hope you will contribute an original research article/review or a less time-consuming mini-review/perspective.
