Dear Colleagues,
Thyroid cancer is the most common malignancy of the endocrine system. Its prevalence has steadily increased worldwide in recent decades, and it is now the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women in many countries. The prognosis and treatment of thyroid cancer depend on the tumor type and its stage at the time of diagnosis. Early diagnosis and appropriate treatment can improve prognosis and reduce recurrence. This Special Issue focuses on the development of technologies such as high-resolution ultrasound, fine-needle aspiration biopsy, and genetic testing, which have made the early detection and diagnosis of thyroid cancer more accurate. These techniques can help doctors detect small cancer foci earlier, providing a better chance of early treatment.
