Join Us at “MDPI Open Access—An Author Training Program”, 14 March 2024, San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Spain
MDPI, in collaboration with the Universidad de La Laguna, Spain, is organizing an author training session aiming to provide valuable insights into MDPI and a profound understanding of open access publishing. MDPI has invited academic editors from the journal Ecologies (ISSN: 2673-4133) to empower authors with the knowledge to explore ongoing Special Issues and Topics and discover tailored opportunities for various author groups.

Ms. Rocksy Zhang |
Ms. Rocksy Zhang graduated from Universiti Putra Malaysia with a master’s degree in engineering management. She joined MDPI in October 2019, working as Assistant Editor of ISPRS International Journal of Geo-Information, Remote Sensing, Land and Climate, Section Managing Editor of ISPRS International Journal of Geo-Information, Drones and Remote Sensing, and Managing Editor of Drones. In recent years, she has collaborated with scholars from all over the world on conference sponsorships and webinars, and has much experience as a conference representative and online/offline scholar visits. Apart from editorial roles, she also has lots of experience as Group Leader, Training Group Leader and Deputy Section Leader to coordinate with colleagues from different MDPI offices. In December 2023, she was appointed as Editorial Director of MDPI Spain and relocated to the MDPI Barcelona office. |
Dr. Gabriel Martínez Edo |
Dr. Gabriel Martínez Edo holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry (2013) and a master’s degree in pharmaceutical chemistry (2015) from the IQS School of Engineering, Universitat Ramon Llull (Barcelona, Spain). He completed his Ph.D. (2020) in chemistry and chemical engineering at the same institution focusing on the use of nanomaterials as drug delivery systems. He joined MDPI in June 2020 as an Assistant Editor and Section Managing Editor for the journal Nanomaterials. In 2021, he was appointed as the Managing Editor of the journal Nanomanufacturing, a position he held until his recent appointment as Journal Relations Specialist. |
