Dear Colleagues,

This Special Issue, titled "Zircon U–Pb Geochronology Applied to Tectonics", delves into the application of zircon U–Pb geochronology in the field of tectonics. Tectonics, the study of the Earth's crustal movements and deformation, plays a crucial role in understanding the formation and evolution of our planet's geological features. Zircon U–Pb dating techniques have emerged as a powerful tool in deciphering the timing and duration of various tectonic events, shedding light on the dynamic processes that have shaped Earth's surface.

This Special Issue presents a comprehensive collection of research articles that highlight the significance of zircon U–Pb geochronology in unraveling the mysteries of tectonic processes. All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Geosciences is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
