Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The 3rd National Conference on Inorganic Membranes  will be held in Huangshan, China from 22 to 25 October 2021.

This conference covers a range of contemporary inorganic membrane topics, including (but not limited to):

Membrane Types
Metal oxide/ceramic or siliceous membranes, metal–organic framework (MOF) membranes, zeolite membranes, metallic membranes, ion transport membranes, 2D (e.g., graphene/GO/layered zeolite) and 1D (e.g., nanotube) membranes, hybrid/mixed matrix membranes

Application Areas
Light gas separations (e.g., CO2, O2, H2), hydrocarbon gas separations; hydrocarbon liquid separations; organics-from-water (including biorefinery) separations; isotope or nuclide separations; water treatment (e.g., desalination, decontamination, processed water); biomolecule/biochemical separations; membrane reactors; membrane contactors or other hybrid processes; membrane-based sensors and analytical devices

Technical Areas
Membrane growth/fabrication and characterization; membrane transport measurements; membrane transport modeling/simulation; membrane scale-up, piloting, or industrial use; membrane process design and economics

We invite attendees of the 3rd National Conference on Inorganic Membranes to submit their high-quality manuscripts to the relevant journals Membranes.

Membranes (ISSN 2077-0375) provides 25% discounts for submissions from this conference. To submit to Membranes, please click the following link and select Special Issue Inorganic Membranes and Membrane Catalysis toward Carbon Neutrality,

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Membranes is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.

Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 2700 CHF (Swiss Francs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
