The awards have been granted to:

Adriana Eres-Castellanos, from the Spanish National Center for Metallurgical Research, is a highly productive Ph.D. student who was awarded by the Spanish Society of Materials at EUROMAT 2019. She will attend and give an oral presentation at the symposium “Study of stress and strain induced martensitic and bainitic transformations during ausforming processes” in CHS2.

Pavel Shurkin, a postdoctoral researcher at the National University of Science and Technology “MISIS”. His research focuses on the development of advanced aluminum alloys and processing routes with further industrial application. He will present his research concerning sustainability in aluminium alloys at METAL 2021.

With so many high-quality applicants, the evaluation process and final decision were challenging. We would like to thank all the applicants for submitting their diverse and fascinating range of research topics. On behalf of the award committee, I congratulate the winners on their accomplishments.
