Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

This Special Issue, "Common Clinical Viral Pathogens: Detection and Treatment," will be focused on research exploring the identification and study of, and treatment strategies for commonly encountered clinical viral pathogens in both human and animal populations. For example, research on rabies, mpox, HPV, HIV and SARS-CoV-2 will be included.

We invite submissions of original research and reviews that investigate areas such as molecular diagnostic methods, serology, genomic studies, the development of vaccines, immune markers, and antiviral treatments. Research on zoonotic viral pathogens, which can impact both human health and animal health, is particularly welcomed.

The goal of this Special Issue is to offer a broad view of how research on viral pathogens can help improve outcomes for patients, guide public health policies, and inform future research directions. We hope this collection of studies will be thought-provoking, encourage collaboration, and advance our understanding of these important infectious diseases.
