Emerging and re-emerging viral infections represent a constant challenge to global health. These infections, caused by previously unknown or recurring viruses, have the potential to lead to epidemics or pandemics, causing significant morbidity and mortality. Understanding the pathogenesis of these infections is crucial for developing effective prevention, control, and treatment strategies. Research on the pathogenesis of emerging and re-emerging viral infections encompasses a wide range of scientific investigations, from the molecular and genetic level to population-level epidemiology. This knowledge is essential for preparedness and response to emerging viral threats and plays a crucial role in safeguarding public health on a global scale.
Authors are invited to submit original research articles, clinical studies, and review articles.
