Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

We are glad to announce a Special Issue of Risks on The Risk of Deterioration of Financial Conditions in the Functioning of People with Disabilities due to the Pandemic.

We invite all manuscripts on the functioning of households with people with disabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic has caused changes in the functioning of households due to the risk of the following:

  • changes in employment, including the risk of unemployment;
  • restrictions and changes in the structure of income;
  • decline in the professional activation of people with disabilities;
  • difficult access to the rehabilitation and increased costs associated with it;
  • reduction in the level of access to and use of financial services.

The topics indicated above are not exhaustive. We invite you to submit both research and theoretical works associated with the risk of deterioration of the functioning (in terms of causes, effects and the current state) of people with disabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We look forward to receiving your submissions.
