Dear Colleagues,
This Special Issue aims to provide a comprehensive overview of recent advances in research on fungal, bacterial, and viral responses to biotic and abiotic stresses in the USA. We invite contributions from American research institutes/laboratories that consolidate our understanding of this area.
Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
- Oxidative stress, osmotic stress, nutritional stress, and mechanical stress in fungi
- Host-related stress survival mechanisms
- Heat shock response in bacteria
- Envelope stress response in bacteria
- Cold shock response in bacteria
- Bacterial stress response to changes in temperature, pH, nutrients, salts, and oxidation
- Plant stress homeo-regulating rhizobacteria

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Stresses is an international peer-reviewed open access quarterly journal published by MDPI.
