Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

1. The necessary annotation is missing from the simulation results. There is a lack of sufficient algorithm performance simulation and comparison experiments in this paper

2. The references are old and lack of citation and analysis of the latest literature

3. Formula writing is not standardized, for example, constants E and C should not be italicized, etc

4. The language expression in the text needs to be corrected by professionals. For example, some sentences in the conclusion are too long.

Reviewer 2 Report

The paper presents a concise model of a kind of concentric sensor arrays with constant beamwidth over some range of frequencies which uses sensors on each ring sharing the same weight value. The designed array shows good performance in directivity index, white noise gain and sidelobe attenuation while it decreases beamformer hardware and computation complexity significantly.

As described in the last conclusion, some advanced research should be promoted to optimize the sensor configuration such as Fresnel ring, signal processing and beamforming algorithm.
