Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This paper addresses an innovative and relevant theme. However, the authors must pay attention to the following problems:

- The Introduction should clearly identify the research question and the novelty of the study;

- In Table 1, the purchase intention scale is missing;

- At the various scales, the term AI - artificial intelligence was used, but the authors do not say whether they clarified the respondents regarding the meaning of this concept;

- In the results chapter, the authors should have explored the indirect and total effects of the structural model and, eventually, tested the mediating effects of utilitarian value and hedonic value;

- In the discussion of the results, should be indicated references;

- The academic implications of the study are not indicated;

- The link of this study to sustainable development of online shopping based on Artificial Intelligence Technologies should be emphasized in the introduction and in the conclusion.

The paper is very good.
The topic is new and interesting.
The bibliographic documentation is good.
I believe that the presentation of the research method can be improved and argued with very recent bibliographic sources.
The role of research for sustainability must be emphasized in the conclusions.
