A Review on Synthesis, Structural, Flame Retardancy and Dielectric Properties of Hexasubstituted Cyclotriphosphazene
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
During the last few decades huge number of cyclotriphosphazene derivatives haven been synthesized, mostly to obtain efficient halogen-free flame-retardants for polymers. In addition, the dielectric properties of cyclophosphazenes increasingly attract attention too. Thousands of scientific studies and patents dealing with cyclophosphazenes have been issued so far.
The review of Jamain et al. provides a survey of actual progress of synthesis of cyclotriphosphazene derivatives and the diversity of their molecular structures. The article focusses on scientific publications. Patents dealing with cyclotriphosphazens are not considered.
The structural formulas of numerous cyclotriphosphazenes have been clearly represented in tables together with relevant properties and test results (flame-retardant effects in selected polymers, dielectric properties). Moreover, structure-properties are high-lighted.
The review article has an interesting and valuable content and should be published in the journal Polymers. However, there is a couple of grammar errors and inappropriate terms through the manuscript. Therefore, it should be checked again to remove these errors.

Reviewer 2 Report
The paper entitled "A Review on Synthesis, Structural, Flame Retardancy and Dielectric Properties of Hexasubstituted Cyclotriphosphazene" by Siti Nur Khalidah Usri , Zuhair Jamain and Mohamad Zul Hilmey Makmud presents literature studies focused on recent research development and studies in the field of cyclotriphosphazene that focused on synthesis, structural, flame retardancy and dielectric properties of hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene compounds. The paper is interesting, well written and it is worth publishing. A recommend it for publication as-is.Author Response
