Author Response

Question or comment 1.

Authors should add novel scientific contributions.

Answer or correction 1.

This issue has been addressed in the introduction (page 2) in the revised manuscript. The novelty of our work, especially in the context of drug delivery, has been stressed.

Question or comment 2.

Figure 2, 3 and 4 should be redrawn with proper style.

Answer or correction 2.

Figures 1-4 and S1-S3 have been edited and exported with higher resolution (400 dpi) in the revised manuscript. Captions have also been formatted in the right way.

Reviewer 2 Report

This is a very well written paper aiming at comparing and selecting the most suitable catalyst for the synthesis of the dendritic polyglycerol sulfate dual-responsive drug carrier and proving its efficacy in vitro. The chemical structure characterization and verification was thorough and the favorable cytotoxicity assay results with the three cancer cell lines appear convincing. This reviewer recommends “publish as is”.

Author Response

Thank you very much for your kind input. The manuscript has been proofread again by a native speaker and spelling mistakes have been corrrected.
