Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This paper analyzes the influence of micro pore structure on oil occurrence by CT and NMR. The title shows an example from shales, but the text expresses the tight sandstone, it is strange. I suggest the authors make a major revision for this manuscript. Some other comments are as follows.

How does process the NMR experimental data to obtain T2 spectra? Please show it.

How long are the oil displacement experiments when the outlet is pure oil? Please add it in section 2.3.

What is the PV? Please write full name at the first appearance.

The authors do not interpret Ai,t in Equation (1) clearly.

There are just 5 cores in figure 9, the fitting results are not very reliable, why does not use the ten samples in Table 1. Why using equation y=a*ln(x)+b to fit the relation between oil saturation and porosity? Based on the equation, oil saturation must be larger than 100 at a large porosity.

I suggest the author do not use “favorably”. Readers do not know the degree.

Similarly, I suggest the authors add the sample number in Figure 11.

Reviewer 2 Report

Dear authors, the material presented in this work is certainly of interest and has scientific character. However, such good material is presented horribly. In places the text of the article is very poorly composed, perhaps due to the very poor quality of the English. Terms and expressions are translated incorrectly. In some places, important details of the experimental methodology were missed. The article requires significant improvements. Other comments in the text of the article.
