The 18th International Symposium on Rice Functional Genomics
This year, the 18th International Symposium on Rice Functional Genomics will be held in Barcelona, Spain (ISRFG2021, 3–5 November 2021). Since 2003, this annual symposium has gathered scientists and students from all over the world to share and discuss recent breakthroughs in rice research. The ISRFG2021 (https://isrfg2021.org/) will cover the latest developments in genetics, structural, evolutionary, and functional analysis of the rice genome. This symposium aims to provide an international forum for the dissemination of new ideas, aiming to achieve a better understanding on how biological processes are organized and how they operate in the rice plant.
This year, the topic of the ISRFG2021 will be the “Impact of Climate Change in Rice Production”. The ISRFG2021 will explore how functional genomic approaches can help to improve rice production under increasing threats from climate change.
Sessions at ISRFG2021 will cover diverse themes, such as:
