New Insights Into Pediatric Eye Care

Dear Colleagues,

For the sake of children’s health and future development opportunities, it is necessary to check and monitor their eyesight. The neonatologists, pediatricians, ophthalmologists and all doctors caring for pediatric patients are involved in this process.

Cooperation between doctors of different specialties therefore plays an important role in the proper development of the child. Proper patient assessment, genetic assessment, care and treatment options play significant roles in the diagnostic process. In this context, child eye care gains new importance.

The aim of this Special Issue of "Children" is to link changes in the visual system such as occur in various diseases. This gives the opportunity to express opinions not only to ophthalmologists but also to doctors of various specialties. It allows for new diagnostic and treatment possibilities to be taken into account.

We encourage you to present research methods, treatment methods and case reports in this Special Issue.

 We look forward to receiving your contributions.

Children is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
