2021 (Virtual) Padua Muscle & Mobility Medicine Days
Although the COVID epidemic is still spreading everywhere, we hope to implement the 2021 Padua Days on Myology & Mobility Medicine (PDM3) at least as a semi-virtual conference from May 25 to 29, 2021. Many organizers of the 2020 Virtual PMDs have agreed to continue their collaboration and two new ones (Zipora Yablonka-Reuveni and Raffaele De Caro) have joined. The suggestions for topics and speakers are so numerous that the 2021 (S-V) PDM3 will likely need to be extended by one day to provide time slots for more attendees, in particular for young researchers that will submit tentative TITLES and ABSTRACTS for Oral Presentations and Posters. In the following Program you will find the Core-Sessions of ”Aging: Atrophy, Sarcopenia, Cachexia”, “Therapy of Genetic Muscle Dystrophies”, “Muscle Imaging”, “CAA Research activities”
and “Muscle FES Rehabilitation”. New two half-day Sessions will be devoted to “Muscle Regeneration and Satellite Cells: Biology & Pathology”, others to “Extra-Cellular Tissue, Fasciae & Tendons”, “Muscle and Sarcomeres in vivo”, “High density EMG applied to motor control in health and disease” and “Balneology and Balneotherapy”
and “Muscle FES Rehabilitation”.
